Lately I'm not dreaming, so what's the point in sleeping?

I am in love
with life.
My girlfriend is the entire world summed up in a mesmerizing, wonderful person. I went to town at a slightly inconvenient time, she had cheer camp, which occurs during the better part of the day into the evening. But every chance she had, she'd call or text me, asking if I wanted to do something on her break, or for the remainder of the night.
We watched movies, made cookies, drove, listened to music, walked all over downtown, looked at the beautiful yachts in Manuals, fell asleep on her trampoline watching the stars. It was 4AM when I left to go back to the hotel on Sunday. I was driving home at 9 and she had practice around the same time. I felt so bad that she had to get up in a couple hours, but I didn't want to leave.
It's like I'm living in a teen radio pop song, and I love it.
I wish I took a photo of this sign I etched our names into through the dirt. We were stuck on the TCH while they were doing repairs and I jumped out of the car and wrote JNJ+MAC on a detour sign with my finger and jumped back in just in time, before traffic began to move.

I'm heading back to school in a couple days. I can't wait. Living in Coughlan so I'll be with some great people, I'll see my girlfriend more and that is so great. I am excited beyond belief. I enjoy the tranquil peace of living here in Conne, but sometimes you just have to get away and just submerse yourself in the lights and buzz or you'll forget what it all was before you went away.
It's been a good summer. Mainly because I found the best girl around. I'm so thankful for her.
